General Motors has signed up to a 2bn yuan ($293m; £180m) joint venture with the Chinese state-owned carmaker FAW to make light trucks and vans.
GM has recently emerged from bankruptcy protection in the US and has seen its sales fall year-on-year in most of its Western markets, so China is a key area of growth.
Why the fuck am I reading about this on the BCC’s website and not on CNN, MSNBC and/or Fox News’ website? Why am I not hearing about this on talk radio? Why am I not watching some TV pundit screaming about this?
Because this is America and the we’re too busy talking about some stupid fucking white girl who couldn’t get away from a creepy old man that was holding her prisoner for 18 years. I mean, why would Americans care about a company that begged for a 139 billion dollar loan in order to save American jobs, cut 10 percent of it’s work force, then opened a car company in China when there’s a HUGE story about a white woman who has raped and tortured for the past 18 years?
God this country is fucked up. We bitch about proving health care to everyone, but say jackshit about giving billions of dollars to a corporation that lays off thousands of Americans in order to save money so they can build a car plant in another country.
Goddammit…I can’t fucking wait until the Afghan war bleeds us dry.

Let me help you out. Idol’s announced they are having a shit ton of celebrity judges. Oprah is finally allowing Jay-Z onto her show. And Letterman is enjoying ruling late night TV.
