Obama_Afghan_War_Meeting

A room full of pussies

I wonder what they were talking about:

President Barack Obama called his war council together Monday as he moves toward a decision on whether to add more U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said he’s not aware of any more such strategy sessions being scheduled, the latest signal that Obama is closing in on a revamped war strategy after several weeks of review. Gibbs said the soonest Obama would announce a decision would be next week.

Commanding Gen. Stanley McChrystal has said more U.S. forces were needed to head off a U.S. failure in the fight against Taliban militants in Afghanistan. He has recommended about 40,000 additional troops.

I like to think that Obama and company were coming up with clever ways of telling Gen. McChrystal to go blow a homeless tranny while making plans for getting our soldiers out of Afghanistan.  I also like to think that they were discussion how to spend the trillions of dollars they’re going to save by pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan on social programs like health care, education, feeding the hungry, and providing housing for the houseless.

Damn, I really need to stop smoking and drinking, because it makes me sound like an annoying idealist.

This is how the meeting really went: Obama got down on his knees and took a load of Gen. McChrystal’s troops right in the mouth. Then he snowballed those salty fuckers into Hillary’s mouth while approving 34,000 additional troops. After Hillary swallowed Gen. McChrystal’s soldiers, Obama and company wrote the speech he’s going to give the American people next week. Then once the speech was finished everybody went home and burned a sack of thousand dollar bills the defense industry gave them in front of thirty homeless people, because the tears of the homeless helps them sleep better at night.

Christ, I need another drink.

Obama’s kind of fucked since he inherited a couple of pointless wars from Twat, er Bush. The British were able to pull out of Iraq, but are stuck in Afghanistan with a shitload of other NATO countries because the pols didn’t have the stuff to tell the US to piss off.

The US can’t learn from its own mistakes, in particular Viet Nam. So, the shit from Afghanistan will spill out into other countries. Well, it might spill into other countries besides Pakistan if they weren’t already: corrupt, dictatorial, and islamic.

Laci the Dog – Could you tell me how the public is reacting to the news of Tony Blair lying about the Iraq war?

Well, I for one, feel that we can learn from our mistakes if our leadership(t) had the guts to do so.As for Tony Blair, here in the USA) , I would say 8 out of 10 people haven’t a clue who he is (was). So the flag waving, war mongering industries and their cohorts(wingnuts, ditto heads) will keep on pushing the win the war b.s. while thousands keep on dying and politicians see these fuktards as potential votes. Time for another cup of coffee. Keep up the good fight Phuck P.! Maybe one day we’ll win.

I think Obama is doing exactly what he always does, pretends to be doing something while lining up some golf, planning his date night, laughing at the libs who put him in office, fuming at the conservatives who are going to boot his ass out, getting giddy thinking about his next late night tv circuit, and masturbating to a high def photo Barney Franks mouth.

    Come on, really?

OK, the amusing thing is that Kenneth Clarke made a statement in Parliament that “I cannot rid myself of doubts that the course to war upon which we are now embarked was decided on many months ago, primarily in Washington, and there has been a fairly remorseless unfolding of events since that time. ” Members in the Commons Hansard Debates text for Wednesday 26 Feb 2003, Volume No. 400, Part No. 51.
    http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.co.uk/pa/cm200203/cmhansrd/vo030226/debtext/30226-14.htm

Clarke makes it pretty clear that he was not persuaded of a case for war with Iraq.

Yet another reason I call him “Tony the Weasel” is that he went along with US plans to invade Iraq. Surprisingly enough the anti-war sentiment came from the Conservatives!

You can read about day one of the Iraq Inquiries here:

Let’s say people have been pissed off about both Iraq and Afghanistan and how these actions have been pursued.

Speaking of Afghanistan, now we know that the Brits are really looking into how the Iraq war started. As a matter of fact, a former top British intelligence officer says British officials decided in 2001 against participating in talks with U.S. officials about regime change in Iraq, but Bush’s poodle bent over and sided with the U.S. neocons.

Ohh, and I’m all for saving some money, but spend the savings on social programs, eh?

Memory lane… (cue thought bubbles and some hazy clouds)

Lemme see, you said you’d like to see social programs like providing housing for the houseless. Hmm.. somehwere I remember something like this already happened.. something along the lines of fred and fanny and guarenteeing loans for those poor ole houseless…

OHHHH Ya! That ended up fucking up our entire economy and caused this whole mess we’re in, while worthless liberal blogs try to shift focus on ‘the war’ or ‘the torture’ or ‘the gays’.

And all because our useless liberal clinton government wanted to “provide housing for the houseless”. How noble, I’m sure chivalry was the entire reason it was done..

So you’re saying they should do the same job on health care, education and feeding the hungry, and even housing again? And were you about to expand on your ideas on how to implement those things without more fuckage? OOORRR… maybe you’re just a typical liberal who has lots of anger, complaints, shit life, and a blog.

OHHH, you’re so cute with your little snarky comments

@Laci the Dog – I would shit my pants if our Conservatives called for a probe into the Iraq war.

@Politcus – I wonder if this has anything to do with Obama and Bush threating to withold information about future terrorist attacks earlier in the year.

@OHHH – And here I was thinking the unregulated derivative market and Enron-like accounting used by the major Wall Street companies caused the financial meltdown.

Good thing you’re around to tell me how it’s the poor and powerless that caused this mess and not the rich and powerful.

    @Zirgar – He is, isn’t he?

  11. OHHH says:

Yea Good thing there Phuck, cause only someone with blinders can’t admit what everyone in America already experienced once the housing crisis started.

I mean, one would have to disregard the last couple of years factual, documented history to come up with what you apparently were thinking.

    Good thing indeed…
