I wish we had more Congressmen that would call out Dick Cheney besides him, Dennis Kucinich, and Al Franken.

Ouch. OHHH swings…and misses. That’s strike three, my friend.

CFT is now officially the ‘Grammatical Overseer Of Forums’, or GOOF for short.

Great Job CFT, you brought back memories of the early 1990′s internet!!

Huh? Leave the olden internet age out of this! Let them play Doom in peace!

Also, if you use pretty much any modern browser, there is a giant red line under what you spell wrong as you type. Whatch, right there, red line. Not gunna fix it though. Or that one. Are you using AOL or something?

Okay, fine. But my point was that your Barney Frank crack was lame.

And anyway, although I didn’t make a habit in those halcyon days of conversing with chat-room grammarians, I do in fact have a soft spot for the Internet of the 1990s. For example, I’m still kinda broken up about Yahoo’s decision to euthanize Geocities.

Me too! Old internet is awesome…happy days. I remember having to use AOL and 28k modems, and IRQs and heat.net and email and IMS…I was in second grade when we first got internet though. Great nostalgic feelings come up when I see a really crappily designed webpage!

I feel the same way. And here’s where I truly date myself, but I actually remember fondly the early days of home computing: the Apple IIc, the ‘IBM clones’. Those were the days…
