I thought you all would enjoy this George Carlin bit about airport security since the US is increasing airport security after the failed “terrorist” attack.

OK, here’s how idiotic airport security is. I was going to pick up my disabled father-in-law and carrying Laci. The usual procedure is to take her out of the bag and carry her through the metal detectors.
This was 9.30 at night and there were no more flights in.
The dickheads give Laci a body search! I was tempted to say there was a bowie knife concealed in her (it would have been bigger than she is), but as George Carlin points out: those dickheads don’t have a sense of humour (whereas court security does).
I asked the Court security folks the next day and their opinion was that the airport folks had nothing to do and wanted to just jerk me around.

These terrorists have taken everything from us. First, we had to take off our shoes, then we had to put our shampoos in a little baggie, and now we can’t wear explosive undies. Well there goes my wearing PETN panties ever again. I like wearing them so I get a little more bang for my gang, if you know what I mean.
