"I mean, what are you doing to make a difference, and how’s it working out? Or are you trying to get views on your sites while pretending to make a difference?"

You should start up a site. You will make far more difference with that then commenting on peoples crap and riling people up. Even better, see if you can get tons of views WITHOUT resorting to "piss people off" tactics.

Can you answer these questions yourself?

I can. I'm not doing anything to make a difference. There is nothing deep to that at all. I'm just not doing anything at the moment. Being informed and reading blogs and watching TV doesn't make a difference, it makes me informed.

Too bad most liberals have nothing to show for their views. See most conservatives can respect a liberal who has his views based on his own personal history, personal experiences, personal convictions. I respected Howard Zinn, but he has real reasons he believes what he does. Unfortunately he simply fingerpoints to the most successful country, even though EVERY country acts the same way, many with far less morals, most with far less ability, and all with the impossibility of doing anything else because that's simply the way it is/was whether we like it or not. For every crappy thing our nation has done, it's done far more good - and thats why America is looked upon to fix the world's ills. Can you say that about other countries?

You whiny "blog" liberals base your views on your anger at your shit lives. I mean, what are you doing to make a difference, and how's it working out? Or are you trying to get views on your sites while pretending to make a difference? Trying to 'fit' somewhere in your unnoteworthy lives, yet convinced you have the worlds best ideas in your inexperienced minds.

RIP Howard Zinn. We lost one of the great ones last night. Democracy Now! devoted much of their show to him today: http://www.democracynow.org/2010/1/28/howard_zinn_1922_2010_a_tribute
