I’m sure you did this for Ronald Reagan when he died, since he funded all those Latin American death squads, right? How about Strom Thurmond? Surely you attacked him for being an unrelenting racist? And what about Tony Snow? Did you attacked him for lying to the American people while he was Bush’s press secretary?

If you had the chance to interview Dick Cheney after the IG Torture report came out, what would you ask him? Would you ask him how he felt about tarnishing the country’s image? Would you ask him how he felt about the hundreds of prisoners that died while in American custody? Would you ask him how scared he was about the possibility of becoming a war criminal?
If you’re Chris Wallace you don’t ask any of these hard-hitting questions. Instead you ask him these questions:
Why are you so concerned about the idea of one administration reviewing, investigating the actions of another one?
Do you think this was a political move not a law enforcement move?
The inspector general’s report which was just released from 2004 details some specific interrogations — mock executions, one of the detainees threatened with a handgun and with an electric drill, waterboarding Khalid Sheikh Mohammed 183 times. First of all, did you know that was going on?
So even these cases where they went beyond the specific legal authorization, you’re OK with it?
That’s right, instead of asking Dick Cheney about being the mastermind of America’s torture program, Chris Wallace decided to get on his knees and do his best Jenna Haze impression.
Of course Chris Wallace didn’t think he was being soft on Dick Cheney. I’m sure he thought he asked all the right questions. And I’m sure after the interview he went back to his room, turned on his TiVo, unzipped his pants and jerked off to Dick Cheney answering his tough questions.

Thank you for your journalistic integrity. While other news organizations were busy reporting about Goldman Sachs taking over the world and how Nancy Pelosi is trying to block investigations of corrupt Democrats, you were busy reporting stories the American people wanted to know about. Stories like this:
It’s a first lady faux pas — wearing expensive, high-fashion French designer sneakers to a food bank.
Michelle Obama wore the sneakers, made by Lanvin, while helping feed the poor at a Washington food bank on Wednesday. The pricetag on the footwear? A cool $540.
Where else would Americans learn about the First Lady flaunting her money in the face of the poor? MSNBC? Please. Those liberal cunts are too busy trying to make Barack Obama look good so they can make billions of dollars off of some carbon deal.
And you could’ve tried to spin this story in Michelle Obama’s favor. You could’ve talked about how she was helping the poor. Or you could’ve talked about how she was trying to shed light on how the economy is forcing more people into homeless shelters. Or you could’ve talked about how she was trying to show the world how the poor are getting poorer while the rich are getting richer.
But that’s what those cocksuckers at CNN are for.
And unlike those lefty “news stations” and blogs, you give the other side a chance to comment on your stories.
According to the New York Daily News, the first lady of style likely got her sneakers through Ikram, the Chicago retailer that usually outfits her.
The White House did not return a message seeking comment.
So keep up the good work Fox News. Because without you, the American people might actually have to learn something.

It’s official–I may have spent too much time in New York City these past few years, because I’m actually beginning to think about things like a New Yorker. For instance, life with our new President Barack Obama is beginning to feel a lot like being in a taxi, stuck in rush hour traffic: You’re not crazy about the guy behind the wheel, not only do you not like where you’re going (you are trapped in Manhattan after all), but you can’t understand the route he’s taking to get you there, and the whole thing is costing you a small fortune. Yes, a cab ride in the big city is like being on The Road to Socialism.
Maybe not. I kinda understand him. He’s saying socialism is like a taxi ride. I don’t know what the fuck that means, but maybe his next example will help me out.
If Obama wanted to rush in to “save” the ice cream cone industry, I could probably learn to live with that. As much as I’d hate to have the low quality government cones, I think we’d all live happy, normal and productive lives if we were forced to eat our ice cream with spoons out of little bowls.
