The US National Security Agency (NSA) is embarking on a secret domestic surveillance project dubbed “Perfect Citizen”, intended to monitor and protect important national infrastructure such as power grids and transport systems.

The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed government and industry sources, says that the NSA has awarded a “black” (classified) $100m contract to defence contractor Raytheon which will see secret monitoring equipment installed within US networks deemed to be of national importance.

According to the WSJ, Perfect Citizen has caused some disquiet among those in the know. It could be seen as the NSA – a military combat support agency whose focus is supposed to be on external threats – carrying out massive automated surveillance of American companies and citizens. The paper quotes an internal Raytheon email as saying that “Perfect Citizen is Big Brother”.

I’m so worried about this, that all I can do is sit and stare into the cold, dark, starless night; while counting down the days until my town is overran by evil, dirty, vile drug dealers.

But not anymore.   Not with people like Sarah Andrews and Rob Abernethy motoring surveillance videos for me.  Not with the state of Texas spending two million dollars on security cameras set up along the border.   These brave, patriotic people are risking their lives to protect mine.

Now I can sleep, because I know these people are doing everything they can from the comfort of their home to protect me.  I know their index finger is ready to send an email to alert Texas authorities when something is wrong.  I know they don’t want anything bad to happen to me, and they are going to do everything in their power to watch the border.

A law being proposed by a state Senator in South Carolina that would make it a felony to use profanity in a public forum, whether written or spoken (so assume the internet is included). Punishment could include fines up to $5000 or prison sentences up to 5 years in length.

This guy is a fucking idiot.  What was his thought process when he introduced this bill?  Why didn’t someone pull him aside and say, “Hey Robert, don’t you think it would be better to try and pass a law that helped out the schools or our health care or try to get more jobs in our state or, I got it, why don’t you pass a law that will let us take down that fucking rebel flag from atop the capital?”

Nobody told him that because everyone is fucking stupid.  They honestly think they can control cuss words?  These fuckers can’t even control the budget.

Stocks fell Wednesday for the third session in a row, with the Dow industrial tumbling over 400 points, as investors bet that a long and deep recession is on the horizon.

The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) lost 411 points, or about 4.7%, to 8,282.66. It was the lowest close for the blue-chip average since it settled at 8,175 on Oct. 27.

Over the past three days, the Dow has fallen more than 660 points, or 7%.

“The concern is that the economy will turn out worse than the current forecast [and] the recession will be longer and more severe,” said Hugh Johnson, chief strategist at Thomas Lloyd Global Asset Management in New York.

Suddenly a Greyhound bus comes CRASHING through the wall at 100 miles an hour, skidding on its side and instantly killing 30 of the motherfuckers.

Once the bus comes to a screeching  stop, 70 Islamic terrorist get out of the bus with enough explosives around their waist that Dick Cheney instantly gets a hard on.  After surveying the scene, each terrorist grabs the nearest stock broker, bends them over, and brutally ass rapes ‘em on national TV.
