It's just green colored paper.

Money is not real:

Of course, much of the world’s elite understand exactly what they’re doing: i.e., use the economic catastrophe they themselves created as a pretext to kill the welfare state they’ve despised for 65 years. Nonetheless, a significant chunk of them actually believe they’re doing the right thing for everyone.

How is this possible? The best explanation I’ve seen appears in a 1994 book by John Ralston Saul called The Doubter’s Companion. It’s a kind of dictionary—the whole book is just him defining and discussing a bunch of words. And one thing he defines is “debt, unsustainable levels of.” Everything you need to understand about our current attempt to obliterate ourselves can be found within it. His most important point is that money is not real. Yet somehow we’ve decided it’s a great idea to stop feeding real food to real people and cease educating real children in order to demonstrate fealty to an abstract concept.

My favorite parts are these, but you should go below the fold and read the whole thing:

A nation cannot make debts sustainable by cutting costs. Cuts may produce marginal savings, but savings are not cash flow. This is another example of the alchemist’s temptation…
Civilizations which become obsessed by sustaining unsustainable debt-loads have forgotten the basic nature of money. Money is not real. It is a conscious agreement on measuring abstract value. Unhealthy societies often become mesmerized by money and treat it as if it were something concrete. The effect is to destroy the currency’s practical value.

I wish someone would inform these cunts about this:

Yesterday, Senator Patty Murray requested unanimous consent on the Homeless Women Veterans and Homeless Veterans with Children Act, a bill she has sponsored that would provide aid to those who have served there country but find themselves with no place to sleep at night.
The days are long gone when I was surprised that Republicans in Washington wouldn’t stand up for Vets, but this is a whole new level. Senate Republicans actually objected to and stood as a road block for providing aid to our Nation’s heroes that are living on the streets, even those with children.

Republicans have no problem with spending trillions of dollars on worthless wars, but when it comes to throwing a little chump change at the poor they bitch like a 16-year-old menstruating girl getting kicked out of a Twilight movie. It’s un-fucking-believable.

Obama showing a white man love
You protect us Americans.

The new Afghan war strategy unveiled Friday by US President Barack Obama goes beyond “bullets and bombs” to a plan to overhaul international aid to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Dismissing past aid efforts as ill-organized and underfunded, it calls for a civilian surge in Afghanistan to match the military one as well as for a 7.5 billion dollar development plan and special economic zones for Pakistan.

Whether you want to admit it or not, the United States came under attack on 9-11-01, and those responsible live in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq.  We cannot allow those 3,000 Americans to die in vain.  We must show the world that attacks on American citizens will not be tolerated.

But why stop there?  Americans are under attack every day.  To be safe, we need to spend  money on everything that’s trying to attack and kill us.  We need to spend:

  • 2.1 billion dollars to fight alcohol since 85,000 Americans die from it each year.
  • 3.2 billion dollars to fight tobacco  since 435,000 Americans die from it each year.
  • 11.9 billion dollars to fight choking since 2,800 Americans die from it each year.
  • 57.2 billion dollars to fight cancer since 565,650 Americans die from it each year.
  • 9.1 billion dollars to fight murder since 16,137 Americans die from it each year.
  • 6.9 billion dollars to fight rape since 94,635 Americans are attacked by it each year.
  • 1.8 billion dollars to fight food poisoning since 76 million Americans are attacked by it each year.
  • 1.9 billion dollars to fight chronic masturbation syndrome since thousands of lonely teenagers are attacked by it each year.
  • 2.89 billion dollars to fight dry vagina syndrome since hundreds of old American women are attacked by it each year.
  • 4.9 billion dollars to fight gayness since 957,200 heterosexual marriages are attacked by it each year.
  • 3.26 billion dollars to fight those fucking bums who always attacked me for money each year.
  • 10.32 billion dollars to fight dwarfism because tiny people always attack me each year.

With President Obama’s leadership and Congress’ funding, Americans will never have to worry about being attacked and killed again.

Who's this guy?

CNN has some “special commentary” from this guy.  His name is Joseph E. Stiglitz and he won some kind of award in some kind of money field.  I can’t remember off the top of my head so it can’t be that important.  What is important for you to know is this guy is full of crap.  He says things are bad for the economy and how he would change it if he were in charge.  Silly man.  Doesn’t he know that John McCain said yesterday that the fundamentals of the economy are fine?

I’m sorry but I believe POW John McCain over some money bag elitist. I call it like I see it folks and I’m calling that guy an ass.

The website Think Progress has an article up slamming John McCain’s (Ed note-that doesn’t sound gay does it?) latest ad saying:

A new ad released this morning by the McCain campaign states, “Our economy in crisis. Only proven reformers John McCain and Sarah Palin can fix it.” In a statement today, McCain said he will “replace the outdated and ineffective patchwork quilt of regulatory oversight in Washington” and bring “accountability to Wall Street.” That promise rings hollow considering he has the former lobbyists of AIG, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America on his campaign staff.

Your point?

Those are some really good corporations who are ran by top notch, ethical CEOs.  Barack Obama can only dream to have that talent around him.  And how dare you sit there and try to paint these companies as evil mutants.  None of the companies listed contributed to my parents’ financial troubles.  They just dipped into their stocks every now and then for some really, really stupid stuff.

I mean, honestly…..who buys a lion as a guard dog?  Wouldn’t a German shepherd be enough?    No?  How about two?  But it does make you wonder who’s trying to rob them.
