Saudi Arabia men

One of these guys just saved the Middle East:

In a groundbreaking meeting, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia recently hosted talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban militant group, according to a source familiar with the talks.

The historic four-day meeting took place during the last week of September in the Saudi city of Mecca, according to the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the negotiations.

King Abdullah broke fast during the Eid al-Fitr holiday with the 17-member Afghan delegation — an act intended to show his commitment to ending the conflict.

The reasons for Saudi Arabia’s involvement are numerous, including having the trust of the United States and Europe to play a positive role at a time when the conflict appears to be worsening and the coalition’s casualty toll is climbing.

Also, Saudi Arabia may fear that Iran could take advantage of U.S. failings in Afghanistan, as it is seen to be doing in Iraq.

Several Afghan sources familiar with Iranian activities in Afghanistan have said Iranian officials and diplomats who are investing in business and building education facilities are lobbying politicians in Kabul.

The Afghan sources wish to remain anonymous due to their political roles.

Coalition commanders regularly accuse Iran of arming the Taliban, and Western diplomats privately suggest that Iran is working against U.S. interests in Afghanistan, making it harder to bring peace.

Saudi sources say perceived Iranian expansionism is one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest concerns.

That’s right baby. The Lord has answered our prayers.  Everyone knows that crazy people only talk to other crazy people and who could be crazier than Saudi Arabia?

Things are starting to look up in the Middle East.

I finally have a good feeling about this War on Terror

Who's this guy?

CNN has some “special commentary” from this guy.  His name is Joseph E. Stiglitz and he won some kind of award in some kind of money field.  I can’t remember off the top of my head so it can’t be that important.  What is important for you to know is this guy is full of crap.  He says things are bad for the economy and how he would change it if he were in charge.  Silly man.  Doesn’t he know that John McCain said yesterday that the fundamentals of the economy are fine?

I’m sorry but I believe POW John McCain over some money bag elitist. I call it like I see it folks and I’m calling that guy an ass.

I wouldn't mind drilling her for oil....

I wouldn't mind drilling her for oil...

Why can’t the “Liberal” media leave Sarah Palin alone.  First there was the bridge to nowhere, next it was troopergate, then her lying about going to Iraq, and now they are pounding her hard (Ed-I know I would) about her lack business experience.

Ooops. Looks like U.S. Sen. John McCain’s economic campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina didn’t get this morning’s talking points.

As you may recall, Fiorina used to head up Hewlett Packard. According to a report by Huffington Post’s Sam Stein, Fiorina, appearing on a local St. Louis radio talk show, was asked if Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had the experience to run a company such as Hewlett Packard.

“Do you think [Sarah Palin] has the experience to run a major company, like Hewlett Packard?” asked the host.

“No, I don’t,” responded Fiorina. “But you know what? That’s not what she’s running for.”

Of course she doesn’t have the experience to run a major company.  McCain has former Senator Phil Gramm on his staff for that.  Sarah Palin is on the staff for her foreign policy experience.

This is further poof that the “Liberal” media is sexist.  If I was a woman I wouldn’t know how to act.  Lucky for me I’m a man so I have the perfect solution…cock punches.  Nothing says STOP BEING SEXIST like a well placed punch to their man finger.

Man I just put on a fresh pair...

The BagnewsNotes.com has a post up about the person who took this picture of John McCain.  I would write something funny about the photographer but I just crapped myself.  I’m sorry…that picture scares the hell out of me.  Look at it.  Is that really his skin? Is his face melting off?  What the hell is wrong with his neck skin?

I am totally voting for this man.  If he scares me just by looking at a picture of him, imagine what he can do up close to a terrorist.  Sarah Palin could warm up the terrorist (Ed-get your head out of the gutter) with her good cop act…then….BOOM.  Here comes Big Daddy McCain.  God I can’t wait.

The website Think Progress has an article up slamming John McCain’s (Ed note-that doesn’t sound gay does it?) latest ad saying:

A new ad released this morning by the McCain campaign states, “Our economy in crisis. Only proven reformers John McCain and Sarah Palin can fix it.” In a statement today, McCain said he will “replace the outdated and ineffective patchwork quilt of regulatory oversight in Washington” and bring “accountability to Wall Street.” That promise rings hollow considering he has the former lobbyists of AIG, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America on his campaign staff.

Your point?

Those are some really good corporations who are ran by top notch, ethical CEOs.  Barack Obama can only dream to have that talent around him.  And how dare you sit there and try to paint these companies as evil mutants.  None of the companies listed contributed to my parents’ financial troubles.  They just dipped into their stocks every now and then for some really, really stupid stuff.

I mean, honestly…..who buys a lion as a guard dog?  Wouldn’t a German shepherd be enough?    No?  How about two?  But it does make you wonder who’s trying to rob them.

Slap hands...slap hands

Slap hands...slap hands

The Daily Banter is reporting a story of how Former Rhode Island Sen. Lincoln Chafee called McCain’s Vice President Nominee Sarah Palin a “cocky wacko”. There is also an article on CNN about the “cut down”:

Former Rhode Island Sen. Lincoln Chafee was known for keeping a low-key profile on Capitol Hill, but the Republican -turned -Independent is making waves with his exceedingly blunt comments on newly-minted Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin:

She’s a “cocky wacko,” he told a Washington think tank earlier this week.

Woah, woah, woah…tanks can think? Why do we even have tanks in Washington? Are we about to be attacked? Damnit…instead of coming up with an awful cut down for Palin (seriously….cocky wacko), Lincoln Chafee should of told the American people to watch out for thinking tanks. Once again the American people are the last to know.
