These people are about to get shot the fuck up.

And not killing them:

American troops raked a large passenger bus with gunfire near Kandahar on Monday morning, killing and wounding civilians, and igniting angry anti-American demonstrations in a city where winning over Afghan support is pivotal to the war effort.

The shooting, which killed as many as five civilians and wounded 18, occurred on the eve of the most important offensive of the war. In coming weeks thousands of American, NATO and Afghan troops are expected to try to take control of the Kandahar region, the spiritual home of the Taliban.

What if the air drone attacks, the killings of pregnant women, and the checkpoint shootings are a ploy by the military to cause civil unrest in the Kandahar region and use that as an excuse to justify using illegal weapons during this offensive like they did in the Falluja offensive in 2004?

Naw, that’s crazy talk. Our military doesn’t need an excuse to use illegal weapons. They’re the goddamn military. They can do whatever the fuck they want.

Damn, I really need to stop reading the news stoned.

This video is not as shocking as the invasion of Afghanistan, the invasion of Iraq, the lies that were used to justify the invasion of Iraq, the 9 billion dollars that disappeared in Iraq, the trillions of dollars being wasted fighting in these two wars, the torture at Gitmo, the torture at Abu Ghraib, the torture at Bagram, the 5 Blackwater contractors getting away with murdering 14 innocent Iraqi civilians, the Second Battle of Fallujah being fought in order to avenge the deaths 4 Blackwater contractors, Blackwater getting billions in no-bid contracts, KBR getting billions in no-bid contracts even though they’re responsible for the electrocution of a dozen soldiers, the thousands of innocent Pakistani civilians murdered by unmanned drones, the millions of Iraqis displaced by the war, the hundreds of thousands of homeless vets in America, and the lack of a public outcry about all of these horrific things being done in our name.

One bomb at a time:

At least 27 civilians died in a Nato air strike in southern Afghanistan, the Afghan cabinet says, revising downwards a prior statement that 33 were killed.

Nato said it hit a suspected insurgent convoy, but ground forces later found “a number of individuals killed and wounded”, including women and children.

I’m amazed at the lack of terrorist attacks we’ve had because of these bombings. I mean, I would strap myself down with enough explosives to give Michael Bay a permanent hard-on and blow up a Walmart on Sunday afternoon if someone I loved was one of the 27 people killed in this bombing, or one of the 140 people killed in the September 2009 bombing, or one of the 97 people killed in the May 2009 bombing, or one of the 90 people killed in the August 2008 bombing, or one of the 47 people killed in the July 2008 bombing.

But that’s just me.

Never forget 2/18.

Why? Because Texas is a rogue state filled with religious fanatics led by a crazy head of state, and they just committed a terrorist attack on a US government building:

AUSTIN, Texas – A software engineer furious with the Internal Revenue Service launched a suicide attack on the agency Thursday by crashing his small plane into an office building containing nearly 200 IRS employees, setting off a raging fire that sent workers running for their lives.

I say we invade Texas like we invaded Iraq. We give governor Rick Perry until Monday 4pm est to turn himself in. If he doesn’t then we shock and awe the fuck out of Austin by dropping so many bombs on the city that the city of Dresden becomes thankful Obama was president during WWII.

Why aren’t the Republicans/Tea Partiers bitching about this:

One thing you can say about the defense budget presented as part of President Barack Obama’s $3.8 trillion federal budget is that it is marginally more honest than some previous budgets. In years past Defense secretaries have pretended that the costs of waging active wars are separate from the “baseline” military budget and have not included those costs in annual budget figures, leaving them to supplemental appropriations.

However, the figure for the projected 2011 military budget is forthrightly estimated at $708.2 billion, which consists of $548.9 billion in the “baseline” budget and $159.3 billion for “overseas contingency operations,” e.g., the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Almost as an afterthought, however, there’s an additional $33 billion to pay for the 30,000 extra troops President Obama is sending to Afghanistan, bringing the grand total to $741.2 billion.

The Center for a New American Security calculates that, when adjusted for inflation, this military budget is 13 percent higher than at the peak of the Korean War, 33 percent higher than at the peak of the Vietnam War, 12 percent higher than at the peak of the Cold War and 64 percent higher than the Cold War average. To be sure, military pay is higher in the all-volunteer military than during the era of conscription, but the military is also considerably smaller.

Emmanuel Goldstein…er, I mean, Osama bin Laden is/was a smart motherfucker. He knew that crashing two planes into two towers filled with white collar workers would get us to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on making more guns and bombs to kill poor, innocent brown people.

Now if only he could plan some kind of attack that would get our government to invest hundreds of billions of dollars into health care and education….

What the fuck is this shit?

The Obama administration plans to ask Congress for an additional $33 billion to fight unpopular wars in Afghanistan and Iraq on top of a record request for $708 billion for the Defense Department next year, The Associated Press has learned.

The administration also plans to tell Congress next month that its central military objectives for the next four years will include winning the current wars while preventing new ones, and its core missions will include both counterinsurgency and counterterror operations.

Let me see if I’ve got this straight. We DON’T have money for health care, education, jobs, or helping people keep their homes. But we DO have money for Wall Street bailouts, auto bailouts, two illegal wars, and countless drone strikes?

Could someone explain to me again how this man got a Nobel Peace Prize and why Republicans hate him.

I hope this man chokes on a dick.

And I’m sure they’ll get it:

Blackwater Worldwide’s legal woes haven’t dimmed the company’s prospects in Afghanistan, where it’s a contender to be a key part of President Barack Obama’s strategy for stabilizing the country.

Now called Xe Services, the company is in the running for a Pentagon contract potentially worth $1 billion to train Afghanistan’s troubled national police force. Xe has been shifting to training, aviation and logistics work after its security guards were accused of killing unarmed Iraqi civilians more than two years ago.

How the fuck are these cunts still receiving billion dollar contracts? I mean, they’ve smuggled guns into war-torn countries, forced children into prostitution, killed hundreds of innocent civilians, and committed massive corruption and secret assassinations.

Silly me, Americans don’t give a shit about organizations that force children to suck dick for a dollar. They only give a shit about organizations that help low income people vote and afford houses.

This country is so ass-fucking-backwards…
